Big K.R.I.T.: Last King 2, God’s Machine
Mississippi’s Finest, Big K.R.I.T. released his highly anticipated mixtape, Last King 2: God’s Machine today and it’s a Southern Hip Hop Lover’s wet dream. This is the second mixtape this year from the Southern MC that’s been compared to Pimp C, and preludes his first official album, Live from the Underground which is set to drop on September 27.
As usual, K.R.I.T. gives us a couple of smooth, ride in your Caddy joints such as The Big Payback and 2 Mph featuring Dom Kennedy, but switches it up with an international sound on tracks such as the Yoko (Remix) featuring Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa and Berner. An HHE fave is Grippin’ on the Wood featuring Southern Legends Pimp C & Bun B. Other guests include 2 Chainz, Cyhi da Prynce, Slim Thug, Wes Fif, Yelawolf, Smoke DZA and Bobby Creekwater.
