It’s official. November 11th-14th, The Core DJ’s, in partnership with Ludacris’ Soul Headphones, will host their 7th Annual Core Retreat XV in The Big Easy, aka New Orleans. Other top music brands such as Coast2Coast mixtapes, Interscope Records, Twista’s GMG Records, Konvict Records and Billionaire Mafio Clothing will be at the event.
The Core DJ’s is a coalition of over 500 of Hip Hop’s most influential DJ’s, and the retreat is a chance for networking, industry feedback and a little partying mixed in. The weekend is packed with events such as executive listening suites, panels and showcases with Hip Hop DJ’s, artists and labels in mind. What’s a Hip Hop retreat without the Hip Hop artists though? Celeb appearances this year include Mystikal, Play N Skillz, Mannie Fresh, Tank, Twista, and living legend, Too Short just to name a few.
