It looks like rapper and business mogul 50 Cent has set his eyes on another target to beef with as the year comes to an end. This time he has reacted to a purported Vibe magazine interview where rap’s King of the South TI spoke candid about how he felt about Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson commenting on his previous weapons possession charge. It’s no mystery that some people in the hip hop community felt that Clifford “TI” Harris caught a sweet deal with the government, as his case was resolved with a minimal prison sentence.
The fact of the matter is most people who would have been arrested for the same charges would have surely been buried under a prison however those same people most likely would not have possessed the financial resources that the rapper had to defend himself against such charges. What is also apparent was the fact that while he didn’t receive a substantial amount of prison time however he did receive a very stiff sentence in any event. We can only speculate that 50 Cent’s recent “outrage” at the Kang of the south may have stemmed from his own upcoming project which is scheduled to be released soon. It is surely one way to grab a few headlines. Just saying!!
Update: 50 Cent took to Twitter to try downplay his role in the “beef”, saying “Look how much you fools have been tweeting about me and @tip I spoke to him last night you sh*t heads should be tweeting about streetking. You know I try to do the right thing. I’m starting to feel like good guys finish last. You talk more about sh*t then can go bad then positive things. Streetking help support me feeding a billion people in need. Instead of supporting nonsense Like the streetking page on face book.”
