2011 has been a wild year for Kreayshawn. The Oakland city representative first rose to fame after the release of “Gucci Gucci”. The video for the single has 23 million views to date and landed her a deal with Columbia Records. Since the deal, she’s been on a small tour at random venues while prepping her debut album. She revealed to Rolling Stone Magazine that her debut album will feature Jean Baptiste and Boys Noize as producers.  Baptiste co-wrote Chris Brown’s woozy anthem “Look at Me Now” and has also written & produced for the Black Eyed Peas and Rihanna. Boys Noize, a German DJ known for his disco-dipped remixes of songs by Snoop Dogg and the Chemical Brothers, has worked with Kelis and the British rapper Kano.”A lot of it is like different genres and forces, from Brazilian-type music to Indian freestyle to techno-type music,” she said. “There’s everything.”

Kreayshawn confirmed that her White Girl Mob partner V-Nasty will be on several cuts, but would not reveal further guest appearances. With mixtapes and possibly a TV show in the works, Kreayshawn is making sure that she’s more careful about her career. “I could be talking to my friend, and the next thing you know the conversation ends up on the Internet,” she says. “It sucks, because things get blown out of proportion so quick. It’s all about maturing. I’m not doing anything but being more mature and taking note of what I’m doing.” With 2012 around the corner she definitely has one of albums to watch for next year.
