According to TMZ, 44-year-old rapper/actor now badass, James Todd better known as L.L. Cool J, “beat the living CRAP out of” an intruder who broke into his L.A. home this Wednesday morning.
The suspect, who is currently hospitalized, entered LL’s home at 2AM while he was sleeping upstairs. Suspicious noises brought him downstairs where he took it upon himself, although the police were on the way, to “WWF” the intruding male stranger.

LAPD arrived shortly after to make the arrest. Officials suspect the burglar may suffer from mental issues however, it’s been confirmed that the robber has a few injuries that are being treated.
“LL Cool J and his family are safe and thank everyone from their thoughts and concern. As a father, husband and citizen, he is committed to keeping his family safe and is cooperating with authorities on this private matter,” L.L. Cool J’s spokesperson said to Daily News.
