The city of Raleigh, NC came out to support their hometown favorites Rapper B Stacks along with NC music impresario Maurio “Rio” Mitchell for their annual all black celebrity affair this month at club Mirage. An event so massive not only were there disappointed attendees who couldn’t gain access to the venue but sources also tell us that Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan was forced to cancel his scheduled club appearance at a neighboring venue in Raleigh.
It probably wasn’t a bright idea for the Atlanta rapper to compete with the hometown heroes during their traditional celebrity birthday bash weekend. We can tell by how the faculty entertainment boss supporters were all at Mirage, not to mention the poor tickets sales for Rich Homie Quan’s show. It has been some time since the city of Raleigh has had a celebration this large, so could you blame them for remaining loyal to their natives? I think not.
