BET’s number one show, Freestyle Friday has been hot on the block and on the rise for years. On the show, hundreds of dope artists are sought after to potentially appear on the show and undergo the opportunity of a lifetime to take their career to the next level. However, they eventually narrow down their candidates to just two artists, who then come on the show and battle head-to-head before the audience and three judges. The DJ drops the beat and the two rappers then go for two rounds, spitting 30 seconds of their best material. The winner is crowned “Champion” and returns the following Friday to battle another artist. If the Champion keeps his game on lock earning seven consecutive wins, he’d then have to retire but fortunately appear in the Freestyle Friday Hall of Fame.

Looks like that’s the way the story unfolded for Freestyle Friday’s Champion Loaded Lux as he won his Champion title and appeared in Freestyle Friday’s 2007 Hall of Fame! Following his great success on the show, Lux kept his career booming at full force releasing his very own mixtape entitled, You Gon’ Get This Work”. The Shaq-hosted mixtape featured all-star appearances from rappers like Jadakiss, Redman, BunB, Wyclef, and more! And we can tell with a hardcore lineup like that, these rappers did nothing but deliver! Lux is known for his smooth intelligent rhymes as he raps, “Boy reaching my time/Preaching my rhyme/I’m reaching a leaf when I climb/Vines leaping for limelight/ Suave beats to my rhyme, these rappers are like 4-year-olds and coloring books/Gotta keep them in line”

Yes indeed, a cold flow is what Lux possesses, that’s my confession! Keep a lookout for Lux as he continues to propel in his career!
