For the past six weeks through his collaboration with Barney’s New York, Jay Z has raised over $1 million dollars for his Shawn Carter Foundation charity. Jay’s charity helps underprivileged children go to college in the US. All profits from the past 6 weeks sales has gone to the foundation. Barney’s New York also pledged 10 per cent of its entire store’s profits to donated as well. The collection offered goods that ranged from $70 cotton t-shirt to a $33,900 watch by Hublot with alligator skin straps. Those who supported the Jay Z x  Barney’s New York collection had a win-win. Not only did they purchase great merchandise but they also donated to a special cause.
