Music executive and brand builder Steve Stoute had a few non-flattering words about 50 Cent a few weeks back during an interview with Hot 97’s Angie Martinez where he said 50 was no longer influential in Hip-Hop culture.
A few days later a photo surfaced of the G-Unit general that appeared to show him checking Steve Stoute at Madison Square Garden during a Knicks game about his comments. During an interview with MTV’s RapFix, 50 Cent explained what the conversation was about and revealed that Stoute has been a frenemy for some time. He even explained how Stoute tried to talk him out of signing with “The White Boy” (Eminem’s Shady records).
