Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Stevie J constantly brags that all he does is make hits, but I’ll tell you what he doesn’t do…make child support payments. The producer/songwriter has just been arrested for a million-dollar child support debt.
In 1999, Stevie J was ordered to pay approximately $6,600 a month in child support for children he had to his then girlfriend in the late 90s. The child support payment was soon raised to $850K.
According to a criminal complaint obtained by TMZ, Stevie J stopped making payments in 2001 and hasn’t paid a dime since. Unfortunately for Stevie J, those due payments just don’t disappear and now the reality star owes $1,107,412. Over a million dollars in child support debt is an insane amount for anyone to owe, but for the man who wants you to think that money ain’t a thing for him can handle this. Right?
