On June 3rd, as their U.S. “No Filter” Tour was coming to a close, the remaining members of Danity Kane [Shannon Bex, Dawn Richards and Aubrey O’Day] performed their new single, “Lemonade” in New York at the Irving Plaza. Boy, did they live up to the name of their tour, or what? During the performance, Aubrey O’Day asks the fans to call out the names of their biggest hater; that’s when it all went south. One fan screamed out, “D. Woods”, the name of the former member of Danity Kane, in response. O’Day repeated the response and the crowd cheered in reply. D. Woods, former member of the girl group, was, for one, absent from the Danity Kane reunion. Though she initially shared that it was her decision to not return, she later admitted that though she would’ve loved to perform with them again, she was not invited back.

Before the performance, O’Day made a statement that may have been the one to bring the matches to start the fire:

“I wanted to give a shout out to all our haters standing at the side of the club every time we walk in looking all good. You got your screen name on MediaTakeOut trying to call my ass fake. I see you, bitch.”

Young Money’s own, Shanell, the R&B singer-songwriter and writer of Lil’ Wayne‘s “Prom Queen”, called a flag on the play and played interference via Twitter, standing up for her sister, D. Woods, and calling a serious penalty on Aubrey‘s part. The tweet reads:

“Keep it cute @AubreyODay. @YaGirlDWoods was the one REAL friend you had in that group and you seem to be the only one hattin on her.”

Danity Kane‘s “Lemonade” may have needed a little more sugar because this moment was SUPER SOUR! Especially when, at the end of the tour, the girls said their final goodbyes to Aundrea Fimbres at their last show in L.A.. The girls called her name, “DREA!”, gave her a bottle of Patron with a bouquet of flowers, and hugged it out on stage. Wishing you the best of luck with your career and relationships with one another, girls!
