Yesterday, June 17th, 2014, 28-year-old American rapper, Kid Ink, premiered his new video, “More Than A King”, via WorldStarHipHop. “More Than A King” is featured on his album, My Own Lane, which is available for purchase on iTunes. My Own Lane was released January 7, 2014 and peaked at number 1 on the US Rap charts. This second studio album of his features artists such as Chris Brown [“Show Me” and “Main Chick”] and August Alsina [“Iz U Down”].
His single, “Show Me” featuring Chris Brown, was certified as Platinum by the RIAA with sales and shipments of over 1,000,000. It, too, secured a number one spot on Billboard’s US Rhythmic chart and number two on Billboard’s US Hot Rap Songs chart. On February 13, 2014, the official remix of “Show Me” was released, featuring Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Juicy J, and 2 Chainz.
