Apparently veteran Oakland emcee Too $hort is suffering from dementia because he bolted from authorities once again after forgetting something but this time got away. Short was cited by Burbank Airport officials after fleeing a security checkpoint when a screener found a loaded handgun in his carry-on luggage.
The O.G. rapper was passing through checkpoint and had placed his wallet, shoes and baggage on the scanner when he realized he forgot to remove the pistol. After a Transportation Security Administration employee noticed the handgun, $hort bolted in his socks to his vehicle and called his lawyer as he fled. His attorney Keith Davidson, went to the airport and convinced authorities to only hit the rapper with a ticket for misdemeanor firearms possession and not arrest him. He’s now due in court on November 3rd.
Last year $hort wasn’t so lucky after he tried to run from police after a DUI stop.
