Having already gained a lot of heat in the US with ‘No Commercial’, including support from ‘The Mixtape King’ DJ Whoo Kid, who premiered the audio, whilst also impacting the college hip hop charts with top 20 entries on the Rapnetwork and Rap Attack charts, IKES has put himself in a great position to enjoy a huge 2015 on this side of the pond.
IKES’ first came to the public’s attention with his hit single ‘Girl Talk’ ft. Scorcher & Jermaine Riley and since then has featured on mixtapes alongside the likes of Drake and The-Dream. His consistency proves that he knows exactly what it takes to make catchy and original UK hip hop that his US fans can also appreciate and he looks forward to spending a lot more time on this side of the pond in the future. As a new year approaches IKES is gearing up to push his unique sound with a new vigor that includes a number of upcoming stateside performances.
