Rapper Chinx Murdered in Brooklyn; Wife Vows His Killers Will Pay (Crime Scene Video)

Queens rapper Lionel “Chinx” Pickens was gunned down in a drive by early Sunday morning. At age 31 Chinx had a lot of life left and now his wife and friends are trying to piece together what happened. He was known to rap fans as a member of French Montana’s Coke Boys, but he was a great husband and father first. Many of his neighbors did not even know he was even a rapper as he was known to fairly reserved.

Chinx just performed at Club Red Wolf in Brooklyn and was on his way to a hookah bar, along with his friend. Seven shots were fired and according to nydailynews.com, “The shooter sped off while the rapper’s silver Porsche Panamera 4 rolled for about a block and came to a stop in front of Dunkin’ Donuts.”

An instagram account named teamshabbaofficial left a comment claiming responsibility for the murder.

0Chinx’s wife Janelli Caceres, took to her Facebook page with sadness posting various sentiments from anger about blog sites and grief from their child asking for his daddy back.

It is a sad story as a young man with much promise has lost his life. Meek Mill,French Montana, Robert and Khole Kardashian, Jay-Z and many others have expressed their condolences to the Chinx and family.

UPDATE According to Allhiphop.com new report claims three are in custody in connection with the murder after SWAT invaded a home in Queens.
