As weird as it sounds, Pornhub records has partnered with Flo-rida, Poe Boy Music Group, and Nontra Records to solicit a global contest to find the next big recording artist that will be the first to sign up on the label’s roster.
The record label is being run by one of the premiere websites in online porn, pornhub.com, who has announced that they are indeed looking for the next big recording star and has nothing to do with porn. The adult site has created a contest to find the “next big recording star.”
Aspiring musicians from all over the globe are able to enter the contest. These musicians must submit an entirely original song to be judged by a panel of listeners from Phub records, Poe Boy Music Group, and Nontra Recrods. The winner will receive a chance to collaborate on an original record with hip hop superstar Flo-Rida and a Grammy Award winning producer, make a music video with a renowned director in the music industry, and receive a recording contract with PH records.
Pornhub Records oficially launched in September and has already worked with Coolio and the “turn up god” Waka Flocka Flame.
“We’re teaming with Flo Rida to find the next big recording star, and expand our own artist roster in the process,” said Corey Price, the VP of Pornhub. “So, whether you’re a promising rapper, emerging band, talented vocalist or anything in between, submit your best original track and show us you have what it takes to knock out Pornhub Records’ first number one hit!”
Each song entered for the contest will be judged based on vocal and music quality, originality, and a written testimony from each contestant on why they should win. The contest is officially underway and will run up until June 30. Aspiring musicians can find out how to enter the music contest by visiting the PH website.
There has already been an overwhelming response to the contest and we have included a few of the songs that have been submitted to the contest, listen below.
