After teasing his fans with a couple of snippets Eminem drops “Phenomenal” which will be featured in the upcoming drama Southpaw.
The first snippet appeared in a short trailer for Southpaw that features Jake Gyllenhaal in the starring role. Em was originally supposed to have the starring role before he decided to leave to work on The Marshall Mathers LP 2. The second snippet was extended version that appeared in a Beats By Dre ad.

The song was co-written by brothers Luis and Mario Resto. Eminem raps over a gritty beat produced by DJ Khalil. The legendary rap star snaps on the track delivering witty lyrical jabs that fit perfectly with the boxing theme of Southpaw. This is the first song to be released from the movie’s soundtrack that’s being produced by Shady Records.
Southpaw hits theaters everywhere on July 24.
