Although she can not control the media coverage that is about her, Azealia Banks wants certain publications to not feature her life in headlines. The 24-year-old New York rapper blames black media for helping with damaging her reputation, even when majority of her coverage came from her very public Twitter rants. Known for letting out her frustrations and emotions out when a popular headline surfaced in the media, like the controversy involving Nicki Minaj’s wax figure last week and Australian rapper Iggy Azalea’s place in hip hop society, Azealia Banks still blames others for image in the music industry.

Here is one of the many magazine headlines that Banks’ said ruin her brand image

This afternoon, she stirred up even more trouble on Twitter when she posted an Ebony Magazine article about the cultural smudging beef  between her and Iggy Azalea. “The only time I made it 2 Ebony Magazine was in a discussion of another white woman. Black media is counter productive.” Continuing to explain her feelings and begged black media to stop covering because the publications have gone out of her way to make her look bad and damage her brand.

The tweet she wrote that directly called out Ebony Magazine has been deleted but she left the others on her timeline.
