Yesterday on the official Facebook page of the Tupac Shakur Estate promised a special announcement. Fan speculation ranged from a biopic to him actually being resurrected, the hype was very real. While the announcement came later than planned, at midnight they posted this message:
Tupac’s message continues to inspire people worldwide by revealing truth through fearless self-expression and encouraging others to do the same. On September 13, 2015, 20 original pieces from 20 artists will be selected to bring this first-of-its-kind exhibit to life. More to come…#2PacArt #RIP2Pac
On the day the 19th year since Tupac died, the estate will sponsor a social media art exhibit from Shakur fans. Only original artwork will be selected and will be showcased the estate’s Twitter and Instagram pages. This is definitely not something many would have been able to predict, but exciting to see nonetheless. Tupac even in spirit still giving to the fans after all these years.
