It appears the producer who sold rapper Fetty Wap the beat for Trap Queen did some funny business and now it has landed the rapper and producer in federal court. Danish songwriter Lazar Lakic says he bought the famous beat back in 2014 exclusively which was called “Hello” from producer Tony Fadd. Once he heard the track on “Trap Queen” he wanted answers since producer Tony Fadd contacted him before the platinum song was released attempting to buy back the track only to be told no by Lakic.

    TMZ is reporting the following:

Fetty’s attorney, Navarro Gray, tells TMZ … Fetty legally bought the beat from Fadd and has the contract to prove it. So if Lakic is awarded damages, Fetty says he’ll go after Fadd to cover it.

Lakic is suing for profits from the banger. He also wants to destroy all copies and stop all sales of “Trap Queen” … which would damn near impossible at this point.

The official “Trap Queen” video has over 493 million views on YouTube. It’s safe to say that a lot of money has been made from that song.

Fun fact: Fetty Wap is also the baby daddy to Love and Hip Hop Star Masika Kalysha and their daughter name is Khari.
