Singer and songwriter, The Dream, has a lot running through his mind lately. Recently, the artist has encountered a few hardships including a failed album, failed relationship and his lack of notice in the music industry. However, The Dream decided to open up and speak frankly about the hurdles that he has jumped.
In an interview with Vibe Magazine, the artistic guru expressed his concern about how people view him within the music industry. When asked if he would rather be known as a songwriter and be forgotten as an artist, The Dream responded, “I’d rather them know what I do best.” At this time, The Dream says that what he currently does best is songwriting. In addition to his struggles within the industry, The Dream went through a public divorce with singer Christina Milian and accepts the fact that both parties were wrong and made mistakes. However, even with his current battles, The Dream says he is not planning on disappearing anytime soon.
