Fresh off of his debut EP BOLO Think It’s A Game Records/Warner Bros. Records] and following his buzzworthy single “Big Dawg” featuring Moneybagg Yo, rising hip-hop star Posa is coming in hot with his new “Dropping Jewels” video directed by The Wizard.
Karvin Jones, known by his stage name “Posa,” was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. He is the youngest of four children and grew up in a very musically-inclined household. His town environment, however, was a hub for drug-related activities and violence, which had a major impact on his life. In order to escape the harsh realities surrounding him, Posa began to devote all of his time towards honing-in on his greatest passion – music. Today, the budding rapper is in the studio preparing to release new music.
We recently sat down with the Mobile, Alabama rapper to discuss his latest project as well as how the ride has been for him after signing with a major label. Growing up as the youngest child of four, Posa explains that if not for the struggles that his older brother had to go through, his outcome may have been somewhat different.
