Rick Ross and Drake have collaborated together once again for their new single, Gold Roses, which is featured on Ross’ new album, Port of Miami 2.

The two have previously worked together on a handful of tracks such as Diced Pineapples, Ashton Martin Music, Lord Knows, and I’m On One. The two most recently collaborated on their song Money in the Grave on Drake’s The Best in the World Pack.

Ross’ album is the sequel to his 2006 debut album, Port of Miami, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and sold 187,000 copies in its first week. The album references Miami being a major arrival destination for cocaine shipments to America. It ultimately went platinum and includes singles such as Hustlin’ and Push It.

The track is nearly six minutes long, and both rappers deliver lengthy verses which include personal tales of loses and accomplishments. Drake even references the NBA finals on the track and alludes to Kevin Durant’s game five injury when he states, “All smiles, Kevin Durant trials/Had to blow it on the court, I must of blew a milli’/I’m walkin’ on all charges, that’s my new Achilles.” This is the second collaboration between Ross and Drake since game six.

Port of Miami 2 is set to be released on August 9. Ross has also released a trailer for the new project which is set to drop the day after what will be the 13th anniversary of the original Port of Miami. Listen to Gold Roses below.
