T.I. has finally gifted the world with his 10th studio album titled Dime Trap an album in which he calls the Ted Talk of Trap Music. He says, “It’s a conversation of where trap music began and the growth and evolution to where it is now, especially what I’ve learned and what the people have learned from that journey,” he says. “I try to treat it like a TED talk for trap n**gas. If anyone cares about the orders of operation, here it is for you.”

The album features 15 bangers that feature collabs from the likes of Meek Mill, Young Thug, Jeezy, YFN Lucci, Yo Gotti, London Jae and more.

In addition to Dime trap being another Street motivational album, TI uses this album to Express his thoughts on his relationship with his wife Tiny Harris. What’s the song “Mr. Fuck up” TI opens up about his struggles in his relationship. The album also featured Dave Chappelle who added his comedic touch on the album through interludes.

Most recently his new single “While You Playin” expressed this grind through dynamic sounds and powerful vocals. B Shell spoke briefly on the track and his struggles in the music industry.

“I love this track because it is a direct expression of all the hard work I’ve put into this industry. I’ve dealt with a lot of BS for years in the music industry. To finally find the music and people that fit me is gratifying. I’ve been working for years towards this while many other people have been playing,” B-Shell explained.

Last night, the search for hip-hop’s next big producer came to an end at the Season 5 finale of the Rémy Martin Producer Series as BIG SEAN & MUSTARD crowned Chicago’s MILO as the winner! The star-studded, red-carpet event converted the Belasco Theater in downtown Los Angeles into a studio, as aspiring producers from seven cities across the U.S. competed for the opportunity of a lifetime – a co-sign and a chance to make a track with Grammy-nominated artist BIG SEAN and mega producer MUSTARD.

Hosted by the Breakfast Club’s DJ ENVY, the event featured performances by the regional finalists who competed in seven different local markets throughout the summer. The competitors included St. James the Producer (New York City), Fasheez Fasho (Detroit), Allen Kass (Las Vegas), Cassius (Miami), Young Sidechain (Atlanta), Milo (Chicago) and OnBeatMusic (Houston). The tournament-styled competition was judged by Mustard and Big Sean themselves, as the producers played their beats for an enthusiastic crowd. Throughout the competition the two hip-hop superstars were joined by other industry executives and notables in providing the producers with feedback and suggestions on how to perfect their craft.

In the end, Milo emerged victorious as confetti rained down from the rafters and he was gifted two limited-edition Remy Martin Producer Series Champion gold chains!

The VIP event also attracted some of the music industry’s biggest names, who toasted to the art of making music and the next generation in music production with premium Rémy Martin cocktails all night (Notable celebrities and guests available via getty link).

The evening also featured another new star, the Rémy Martin 1738 ® Limited Edition Speaker Box, in collaboration with Live Nation, crafted to echo the spirit of the Rémy Martin Producers Series and the brand’s music campaign.

New Music Alert: Cezer – “GroupE Luv” Ft. Maino and Hollywood Luck

0

Recently rising talent Cezer dropped the audio for his new single with Maino and Hollywood Luck called, “GroupE Luv.”

Drawing in eyes with a controversial cover that features a Kim K look-a-like, the art work depicts the reality TV star in front of NBA and NFL player’s jerseys linked to the reality TV star in tabloid hyped relationships.

Adding to the controversial cover, Maino joins Cezer again after their highly successful track “Cold As Ice” that garnered a huge response from fans on blogs and social media.

“I spent some more time in New York and me and Maino were able to link up again and record some new material. A lot of people don’t think that Maino fuck with Southern artists, so I wanted to close that gap and put him on something different,” Cezer said. “Once we got it recorded I came back down South to work on it.  He’s an East Coast artist, I’m a down South artist, so I just wanted to bridge that gap with a Southern sounding song.”

After traveling around to Chicago and Atlanta, Cezer gained some notoriety putting in work with Grand Hustle through his relationship Big Kuntry King. That lead to songs with Young Dro, Young Buck and a host of other artists.

Cezer has since developed a following on the East Coast after several songs with Maino. The rising rapper took the time to talk about his experience breaking out of Mississippi and the challenges associated with these kinds of moves as an entertainer.

“People don’t even understand how difficult it is to break out of Mississippi. Coming from here we gotta work 10 times harder from the next artist from the next state,” Cezer said.  “Yea we got New Orleans and Memphis within a hour and a half, but at the same time there is a limited entertainment scene where I’m from so I had to travel a lot to get my music heard and ending up songwriting.”

Going forward to close out the year, Cezer has plans to release several more singles including one with artists from Mississippi while continuing to earn publishing for his songwriting credits.

“The goal is just to continue to release more material and stay in their face with new music,” Cezere xplained. “Without the fans none of this would be possible so I have to thank them for continuing to support my music.”

New Music Alert: Lil Ugly Toes (@liluglytoes) – “Fuck the Opps”

0

Up and coming rapper Lil Ugly Toes is prepping the release of his song “Fuck the Opps” (Prod by JuiceRose).

Since getting the Adam 22 co-sign and premiering his “Fuck 12” video on No Jumper’s YouTube Channel, Lil Ugly Toes has racked up over half-a-million views on his visuals including the Elevator premiered video “Two.”

Most recently, Lil Ugly Toes continued to build his internet presence with the bass heavy screamo friendly track “Bheeep” using world renown Hip-Hop staple WorldStarHiphop.com as the outlet for his release.

“In a lot of my newer projects I’m trying to dig deeper into my feelings and express the things that I’ve been going through more,” Lil Ugly Toes explained. “The big homie Triston (@thereddwarfs) shot the video. I met Triston through another friend when shooting my first music video for the song Two.”

Known as “Toes” amongst close friends and labelmates, the 6’4” rapper began his career in the state of Indiana being influenced by Biggie, Chief Keef and Metallica, but ultimately realized that he needed to move to Los Angeles to further pursue his goals of commercial success.

“I believe that I am the next wave, people gravitate to what I’m doing and I have put myself on another coast away from my family and everything I know strictly to reach my goals. I bet it all on me when I came to LA,” LilUgly Toes said.

In 2018, Lil Ugly Toes formed a partnership with Hollywood, California based record label Starboss.   Building brick by brick from their multi-level studio and compound, “Toes” embodies every bit of Larry Bird’s Indiana State days hooping with friends in between studio sessions and video shoots.
