Recently Crenshaw bred rapper Rich Rick released a compilation called Everything Major, from his label Major Artist Music Group

After getting his first record deal offer from Jimmy Iovine and after securing production work with TUG/Universal, Rich Rick was framed and served prison time when he was falsely accused of stealing $350,000 of Mariah Carey’s jewelry. Despite serving time for a crime he allegedly did not commit, Rich Rick vows to prove his innocence hoping to someday exonerate his record of any charges.

Despite the circumstances, Rich Rick has battled through it all and most recently went four times platinum for his work on Lil Wayne’s song “How to Love.” Now he’s back with a fresh batch of music hoping to shed light on his true ability to A&R, produce, rap and manage a label.

“Major Artist Music Group is the focus, it’s a company that I started independently after leaving my situation with Chris Stokes.” Rich Rick explained. “While I was going through legal things and learning the business of contracts, I ended up developing my own label Major Artist Music Group so I can start putting out the music that represents what I believe in. Now since all the legal stuff is done, I’m ready to focus on the music and get back in the studio recording with Detail, iShowOff and other acts on my label.”

“I just want everyone to know that we came from these Crenshaw streets and we had bigger dreams to come up out of it, but we still not forgetting where we from. We had to rise above it. Kind of like how Nipsey reps Crenshaw. Me and my brother had a similar dream. We want to show people that we will represent and that there is a hope to get out the hood where violence is so prevalent,” he added.

Leading into the Fall Major Artist Music Group will be focused on iShowOff’s yet to titled album as he is the first artist on the label who will be releasing a solo project.

IFightForMyPeople, a community social justice organization, is demanding a call for action. The organization was created to bring attention to the rising number of police fatalities concerning innocent unarmed people in Atlanta and surrounding areas. They ally with the parents of victims to demand justice be served.

The organization in solidarity with , Justice Fighter, #MalcolmLutherQueen, Yonasda Lonewolf, Street Groomers, and a coalition of activists and organizations from the southeast, are making a statement by occupying Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta today. In an effort to bring awareness to what IFightForMyPeople feels has gone largely ignored by government officials and the Atlanta PD.

Flow Frazier, formerly known as Caspa Narkz, is back from his hiatus with “Loaded.” After having a run back in 2011 under independent label Black House Records, and working with the likes of Troy Ave, Smoke DZA, and Big K.R.I.T., Flow took a break after the CEO of the label died of an overdose. “Loaded” is a gut punching, soulful reminder to stay on your grind. YG released the album “Stay Dangerous” last month, and it was definitely a banger. It featured one of the hottest tracks of the summer “Big Bank,” as well as quite a few others.

“Bulletproof” was among the list of fire tracks, and the artist has finally released a video for it. Needless to say, he took this precious time to address the ongoing beef he has with Tekashi 69. If you’re unaware of what going on between the two here’s a play by play. YG said “F*** 69” on Twitter, then proceeded to say he meant what he said on the Breakfast Club. Tekashi, being the king of the internet trolls, of course too time out his day to respond. He told YG to “suck his d***” and accused “Big Bank” of flopping compared to “FEFE.” YG came back with some serious pedophile rhetoric, referring to his open case. Then there was radio silence until now.

YG spent the whole first minute of his video depicting Tekashi 69 in prison, getting the real deal. You can hear the word “pedophile” ringing out in the background. He even places the picture above on the screen before beginning the song. So there’s no room to guess who he’s talking about.

Things look like they’re starting to heat up again. 69 hasn’t responded but I doubt the king of trolling is going to let this one slide.

The R&B/Rap artist has finally released his project East Atlanta Love Letter.

2) Swipe right to request 6LACK Mode from the menu.
3) If matched with a driver, you (and up to three friends) will be picked up in a luxury vehicle and will receive exclusive merchandise before arriving as a VIP guest.

Look up in the sky, it’s a bird, no it’s a plane, nah bruh, it’s just actor Michael B. Jordan in talks to play the first black Superman for DC comics. The Black Panther star recently met with executives of DC comics and Warner Pictures to discuss the possibility of him taking on the role as the man of steel on planet earth.

The opportunity presented itself for the actor after former Superman star Henry Cavill decided he didn’t want to continue to play the role of the man of steel after he was denied an opportunity to appear in another DC movie Shazam due to scheduling conflicts. If in fact Jordan is picked to play the popular role, it would be the first time a black man has played such an important comic book character. Additionally with the success of Michael B. Jordan’s other roles, he would certainly be a box office draw.

The only thing that would prevent him from playing the role would be kryptonite.
