Recently it was announced over the social networking site that Killer Mike’s controversial video for “Burn”—a politically and socially charged banger off his new album PL3DGE—was banned from BET, due to what Mike told XXL, was too much violence. But we learned today (July 19), that the network has changed it’s mind, after seeing the reaction from his fans online.
“BET always listens to its audience,” a rep for the station told XXLMag.com.”Thanks to the power of Twitter, BET has reassessed Killer Mike’s ‘Burn’ video and has decided to accept the video for BET Networks. If we decide to air the video on 106 & Park, we will have a conversation and discuss the issues presented in the video.”
After finding out the new development, a phone call was made to Mike to deliver the good news and, as expected, he was beyond excited. “Thank all my Twitter supporters,” he screamed into the phone, “because literally they went ham on BET.
Mike explained: “I wrote that song on the behalf of young black men who are poor and disenfranchised, who have doubled the unemployment rate. I wrote it for people that are being abused by banking and finance companies, people that are being abused by the church and stolen from, I wrote it on the behalf of Oscar Grant who was murdered by police men who didn’t even serve a full year.”
And now he won’t just be preaching to the choir.

A 61-year-old Woodstock, GA man has finally been arrested after a week on the run from Gwinnett County Police, for allegedly setting a teen on fire. Joseph Raymond “J. R.” Zeock is charged with first degree cruelty to children, false imprisonment, solicitation of sodomy and aggravated battery. According to Woodstock police, the 17-year-old victim is being treated at Grady Memorial Hospital. He told authorities that Zeock attacked him and promised him money in exchange for performing sex acts.

In a stunning development shaking the entertainment world, Grammy-winning singer, entrepreneur, and reality TV star Kandi Burruss has quietly filed for divorce from her husband Todd Tucker, according to a newly uncovered divorce petition filed in Fulton County Superior Court on November 21, 2025. The filing was made under her married legal name, K. Lenice Tucker.
The court document confirms what fans and industry insiders have been speculating for months: one of reality television’s most successful power couples is now headed toward a legal split.
According to the petition, Kandi states that the marriage between her and Todd is “irretrievably broken,” the statutory grounds required under Georgia law when no reconciliation is possible.
