A Georgia woman has just petitioned the Fulton County Superior Court to have NBA legend and former Chicago Bulls former guard Michael Jordan to take a paternity test to prove that he is the father of her illegitimate son.

Our sources state that Smith doesn’t want her son Taj to live in the shadows of one of the biggest names of all time and she believes it’s time for Michael Jordan to acknowledge is biological son. Smith also wants a Fulton County Superior Court judge to make the star athlete to provide his DNA within the next couple of weeks.

Taj Jordan released this video acknowledging he is Michael Jordan’s son

Pamela Smith claims in her paternity suit — filed February 6 in Fulton County, GA and obtained by Hip Hop Enquirer — she became pregnant after having unprotected sex with Michael Jordan in 1995.  Pamela gave birth to Grant Pierce Jay Jordan Reynolds — aka Taj — in June 1996.  During that time, Jordan was married to Juanita Vanoy but she divorced him because of rumored infidelities.

In an eleven page filing obtained by HHE, Smith outlined her requests to the court. Some of which included:

    • Full custody of the child
    • Child support
    • Education support
    • While she states the child already has health insurance, she wants to compel Jordan to pay any additional medical, dental, or hospital bills that may arise.
    • She also wants Jordan to pay all legal expenses associated with this case filing.

Her demands doesn’t sound too unreasonable if Michael Jordan is actually the baby’s daddy. Our question is why did she wait so long to file for a paternity test? Was he paying and just decided he didn’t want to pay anymore? Or did she squander the money that he was already giving her? Whatever the case, we will keep our readers updated as this case unfolds. A court date has been scheduled for March 12th and we expect Michael Jordan to appear.
