The L.A. group of friends will not only be invading your computer screens in 2012, but the silver screen as well. Odd Future, the crew made up of rappers, skateboarders, artists, VMA winner Tyler the Creator and crooner Frank Ocean, are set to release a show on Adult Swim in 2012. The show will be produced by Dickhouse Entertainment, the same company that brought you shows such as Rob & Big and Jacka$$. More details inside.
The show’s format is one that you’re used to from Adult Swim – 15 minute blocks of sketch comedy, pranks, music and more, presented in a style reminiscent of MTV’s Jacka$$. Glad the lost boys of Odd Future found a home at Adult Swim, they’ll fit right in there. On top of the new show, Odd Future is set to start touring on September 25 starting in San Diego and have a book dropping in November, following their life on the road. Odd Future taking over the world? Who knew.
