Sean “Diddy” Combs was reportedly transported from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey for medical treatment early Saturday, October 10, after suffering a head injury.
According to Page Six, citing TMZ’s reporting, an ambulance left the federal prison around 1 a.m. Combs reportedly returned before sunrise and was conscious and speaking. The injury was described as not life-threatening, but the circumstances surrounding it remain unclear. His representative said they were working to confirm what happened.
Combs’ projected release date is March 2, 2028, according to recent reporting citing updated Federal Bureau of Prisons records. That date can change as the agency recalculates his release eligibility.
Meanwhile, his challenge to his convictions and 50-month sentence remains before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. The court heard oral arguments on April 9, 2026. Recent reporting debunking the online rumors says the appeal remains unresolved, with no decision overturning his convictions or sentence.
Despite social-media claims that Combs won his appeal, no verified ruling supports that claim. His medical trip should not be confused with a court-ordered release. Reporting traced one widely circulated claim to an October 6 post that acknowledged it was still awaiting verification from the appeal docket.
Hip Hop Enquirer will continue following developments surrounding his condition and appeal.
