Introducing Columbia Records newest Singer/Songwriter Camino

Newly signed Columbia Records singer/songwriter Camino is a native of Mississippi with a unique sound. The 23-year-old singer-songwriter has deep country roots intertwined with soulful rhythm & blues.

Camino left Mississippi for Atlanta, where he was homeless, struggling to make it in the music industry. Things were looking dim for Camino until he found Marcus Rippy, a mentor who helped him work with producers DJ Spinz and Polow da Don. Camino developed his unique soulful country and has even had singer Akon and rapper T-Pain co-sign his one of a kind sound.

Camino released his first single “Riot” in July, which has brought in more than 150,000 Spotify streams. He’s currently self-producing his 10-track debut album. His single was recently featured in a digital commercial for Monster Energy NASCAR cup series race at the Kentucky Speedway.
