One of Hip Hop’s great podcaster Reggie Ossé, aka Combat Jack, has died at the age of 48. Ossé was diagnosed with colon cancer in October. Chris Morrow, Ossé’s friend and his co-founder of Loud Speaker Networks, confirmed his death, telling NPR that he died this morning at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in New York. Ossé was 48 years old.
Ossé shared that he had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of colon cancer with his fans online in October.
Ossé was born and raised in Brooklyn. Before Combat Jack, he worked as music attorney, representing the likes of Jay-Z and Capone-N-Noreaga during the fledgling stages of their careers. In 1989, Ossé switched from entertainment law to entertainment journalism. He would go on to work for MTV Networks before launching his own Internet radio show titled The Combat Jack Show.

It appears the bank that extended a loan to Cash Money Millionaire mogul Bryan “Birdman” Williams wants the home back after they are alleging he defaulted on a $12,000,000 million dollar loan.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Birdman borrowed the $12 mil in 2015 from a company called EMG Transfer Agent. The rapper put up his Miami mansion — the one he bought in 2012 for $14.5 million — as collateral for the loan.
But Birdman defaulted on the loan and EMG wants the house foreclosed on so they can get their money. They are looking for their $12 mil plus interest and late charges.
This is the same home that was once owned by music producer Scott Storch who decided to sell after experiencing serious IRS issues.
Birdman put the home up for sale months ago for $20 million however after no interest was shown for the home, he dropped the price to $16.9 million.
It is not easy selling a home that has appeared in countless video shoots. The mystic of it is gone.
Fun fact: Birdman’s net worth is estimated at a cool $180 million dollars.
Hip Hop Mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs wants to be the majority owner of the Carolina Panthers. Diddy shared on social media through a series of tweets and videos.
This would be the perfect time to buy into the team because it was announced on Friday that the current controlling owner Jerry Richardson is under investigation for sexual harassment misconduct and use of a racial slur directed at a team scout. Richardson announced his intention to sell the team after the season on Sunday.
Diddy followed up his initial proclamation by pointing out that there are currently no African-American controlling owners in the NFL. He punctuated that tweet with the declaration, “Let’s make history.”
If Diddy became majority owner of the Panthers he would be the first African American NFL owner in the history of the NFL.
Diddy also shared on his Instagram page a video saying he will immediately address the Colin Kaepernick situation by starting him as the quarterback. In addition to having some of the most amazing Halftime Shows “when” they go to the Superbowl.

The Snowman aka Jeezy is back with his eighth studio album titled Pressure. This 13 track LP is what I like to call ‘Classic Jeezy’ with a motivational twist. This project features a huge list of amazing features that include Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Rick Ross, Puff Daddy, 2 Chainz and Tee Grizzley.
Early this November Jeezy shared with Billboard.com his inspiration for the project, “I always focus on balling in the summer, grinding in the winter and I wanted to try something different. I wanted to keep everything going throughout the winter time and give ’em that motivational music.”
You can see the growth of Jeezy as an artist and a man and for some of Jeezy’s listeners who love and want him to keep up the sounds and themes he breakout with you are going to have to “Just keep buying my old albums”. Jeezy shared in an interview with Complex.com “People are always going to tell you ‘I wanna hear something like your first joint,'” he said at the 2:14 mark in the video up top. “If that’s the case, buy my first album again and again. We’re not there mentally.”

Tommie Lee took the time to speak to Hip Hop Enquirer’s Music & Entertainment Editor Azizah Nubia to discuss the claim that she brought a loaded gun on the set of LHHATL Thursday evening.
In a brief phone interview, Tommie states ” I am a child of God and I would never do anything like that… I have Security to carry guns for me, I don’t need to have a gun.”
SandraRose.com reported that Tommie Lee arrived on the set on Thursday night with 2 men in her car. Security ordered the men to leave. It looks like Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta producer Mona Scott-Young has a HUGE problem on her hands. According to Sandra Rose LHHATL cast member Tommie Lee brought a loaded gun on set Thursday night.
SandraRose.com reports that Tommie Lee arrived on the set on Thursday night with 2 men in her car. Security ordered the men to leave. But as they were leaving one of the men handed Tommie a loaded gun. When Tommie was searched security found the weapon on her with a bullet loaded in the chamber.
LHHATL’s set policy is to keep the locations of the filming a secret. No one outside of the cast and crew is allowed on the set, and the cast members must surrender their cellphones and undergo full body searches.
Security didn’t call the police, but crew and cast members were extremely fearful for the mental stability of Tommie including Karen King who was once a friend but now foe of Tommie. Due to the high number of ex-convicts and violence among the cast members, Mona Scott hired a team of security guards to protect each individual cast member.
Sandrose.com also added that the guard who was assigned to Karen King was fired last night because he had his gun drawn when Tommie and her goons arrived on the set.
We are happy to hear that all the weapons were found and no one was hurt. But the question we need answered is why does Tommie feel the needs to have a loaded weapon on set? Who really has Tommie looking over her shoulder?
In a stunning development shaking the entertainment world, Grammy-winning singer, entrepreneur, and reality TV star Kandi Burruss has quietly filed for divorce from her husband Todd Tucker, according to a newly uncovered divorce petition filed in Fulton County Superior Court on November 21, 2025. The filing was made under her married legal name, K. Lenice Tucker.
The court document confirms what fans and industry insiders have been speculating for months: one of reality television’s most successful power couples is now headed toward a legal split.
According to the petition, Kandi states that the marriage between her and Todd is “irretrievably broken,” the statutory grounds required under Georgia law when no reconciliation is possible.
