R. Kelly’s Girlfriend Azriel Clary Breaks Out of Her Shell, Turns Up For Snapchat

One of R. Kelly’s live-in girlfriends, Azriel Clary, has recently become active on social media again, giving her family and friends hope that they may get her back.

Clary posted several snapchats and other clips of her laughing, dancing, and trying on clothes, according to TMZ. However, most of the videos appear to be filmed inside of Kelly’s Trump Tower apartment in Chicago where her and Kelly’s other girlfriend, Jocelyn Savage, live. Despite this fact, her family has seemingly regained hope that Clary is slowly transitioning back into her old self and that the singer is losing his hold over her. Additionally, some of Clary’s old friends have reconnected with her on social media.

Clary and Savage recently sat down for an interview with Gayle King, where they stated that there is nothing inappropriate about their relationship with Kelly and that they are very much in love with him. They also stated that their families’ concerns that they have been brainwashed by the singer are not true.

The two maintain that they have had phones and that they have been on social media the entire time that they have stayed with Kelly. However, it appears to be more apparent now that Kelly is in custody for new federal charges. Clary can be seen posting sometimes as much as four to five times a day.

While Clary still continuously expresses her love and support for the 52-year-old, her family reportedly sees a true possibility of her coming home with these new social media posts.

Define your artistry in three sentences

My artistry is very melodic. I believe it’s a good mix between hip hop and GoGo. The instrumentals is more hip hop but the vocals are a lot more on the GoGo side.

How has go-go, DMV regional  music, has influenced you musically?

GoGo is what got me started in music. That’s how I learned to play instruments and learned rhythms and rhymes. If it wasn’t for GoGo and it’s culture I wouldn’t even be involved in music.

Bounce Beat Black is a interesting name, where did that originate from? What does it mean to you?

Bounce Beat Black originated from my GoGo roots, Black was my stage name and I played in TCB who are also known as the Bounce Beat Kings. It only made sense to me to tie it together since that’s where it started for me.

When you’re in the studio, what’s your process? 

I have 2 separate processes when I’m in the studio. The first one is if I have something on my mind that’s meaningful to me and has a message that needs to be put out I’ll take my time to write my thoughts out rehearse the song then record. The second process is for songs that are fun I’ll be spontaneous and just start recording and coming up wit the song as I go.

For collaborations, who would you ideally want to work with?

Where do you see your career in five years?

In five years I see myself being in a position in my career where I can help other artist like me be able to live out their dreams

If you have a million dollars in your hands right now, where would you invest it into and why? 

Real estate because if you own land you pretty much always have money, record label to help push myself and others that I’m willing to help forward.

LisaRaye McCoy Responds To Nicole Murphy’s Apology For Kissing A Married Man

Pictures of Nicole Murphy recently surfaced of her kissing married director Antoine Fuqua, for which she has since apologized. However, actress LisaRaye McCoy recently stated that Murphy has a history of messing with married men.

On Saturday, July 20, Murphy and Fuqua were caught kissing at a hotel pool in Italy. Murphy, 51, was previously married to Eddie Murphy from 1993 to 2006, and the two share five children together. Fuqua, 53, has been married to actress Lela Rochon since 1999 and the pair has two children together in addition to Fuqua’s son from a previous relationship.

According to People, Murphy made a statement saying, “Antoine and I friends. We ran into each other while we both were in Europe. Without going into the entire situation, I want to apologize to my family, and to Lela and the Fuqua family for what transpired.”

She continued, “It was not my intention to be in this situation. I do not condone women kissing or interacting in anyway inappropriately with a married man.”

McCoy recently came out stating that she believes Murphy’s apology is fake, as she claims Murphy previously had an affair with her husband. McCoy was married to Turks and Caicos politician, Michael Misick, from 2006 to 2008. During that time rumors surfaced of Murphy and Misick’s alleged infidelity, and McCoy claims that the rumors were true. McCoy said Murphy knew that Fuqua was still married and betrayed Rochon’s trust, according to TMZ.

McCoy even went so far as to comment on an article about Murphy and Fuqua, stating “Gurl @nikimurphy you went after @iamlelarochon husband too?…smh So wrong….again!!!” Murphy has yet to respond to these comments.

A$AP Rocky Charged With Assault

After spending weeks in a Swedish jail, A$AP Rocky is now being charged with a crime and will remain in captivity.

Prosecutors charged the 30-year-old rapper with Assault Causing Actual Bodily Harm which came from an altercation with two men and Rocky’s crew. Photos of the alleged victim’s injuries have surfaced that formed the basis of Rocky’s assault charge, according to TMZ. In the pictures, you can see a bloody arm and finger, blood on the back of the man’s arm, and a streak of blood on his bicep. There is also a gash and various other cuts.

Pending the trial, Rocky will reportedly continue to be held in jail. A trial date has not been set, however according to TMZ, a representative for the prosecutor said the trial will be held within the next two weeks and last three days. Two members of Rocky’s team have also been charged with the same crime and are also being held pending trial. As for Rocky, if he is convicted, he could spend two years behind bars. The man who attacked Rocky’s crew will not be charged with anything even though it appears in the video that he was the instigator.

A Swedish prosecutor claims that he has more insight on the altercation and that some of the claims Rocky and his crew have made are untrue, according to TMZ. He said that after reviewing video footage and speaking with eye witnesses, he learned that the man hit Rocky’s bodyguard with a pair of headphones only after the bodyguard lifted him off the ground by his neck, causing the prosecutor to view the headphone incident as an act of self-defense. However, the neck grabbing is not on video, and Rocky’s bodyguard has already been cleared of all charges.

Rocky and his crew have luckily not been charged with Aggravated Assault, which is a more serious crime and carries a 6-year prison sentence.

199x:nostalgia conceptually came from my personal and overall life experiences. This EP was created from about 2014 until about 2018. Through that time frame is where the idea for the EP to be generated. Songs like Initial Thoughts stems from the dark periods in my life where I was feeling like it’s more to life than this struggle, I wanted to get away. I wanted to be physically, mentally, and financially liberated. Trippy Smalls came from smoking weed and studying biggie listening to 90s music trying to capture that feel. We$tSide came from my first experience in California. It motivated me to get in the booth and rap about the culture, the experience, and the artist that brought the influence cause you can hear the G-Funk in the track, and Nate Dogg like hook.

Also, it had me shouting out the legends Mac, Dre, E-40, Snoop, and Nipsey Hussle. Memory Bank came about when my grandmother died. If you hear it, you’ll notice the emotion and my feelings. Hustler’$ Nostalgia was an embodiment of 2pacs “I’m getting money” but from the perspective of two people in circumstances that they both overcoming and see better for those around them. Limewire was something I felt I can cruise too, The vision and Dear Dilla are my favorites. Dear Dilla was me talking to hip hop personally  like it saved me! Can you save?! Are you my way to speak to the people? Are you my way out? The vision finally was the introduction to me and also an introduction to my 2nd project if you catch on.

Meek Mill No Longer A Felon, Judges Orders A New Trial

A panel of Superior court judges agreed with both Meek Mill’s defense attorney as well as the current Philly prosecutor that the rapper deserved a new trial in his gun conviction because the cop who arrested him was dirty and the judge on the case had an axe to grind with him.

A panel of judges handed down their decision Wednesday in Pennsylvania Superior Court — saying Meek does in fact deserve a new trial, with a new jury … and most importantly a new judge who ISN’T Judge Genece Brinkley … who many believe had it out for him the first time around.

Meek wasted no time breaking the big news on his instagram page saying the following:

“As of right now I’m not on probation and I am not a felon anymore,” adding a bunch of praying hands. He went on to say, “today was mega!!!”

TMZ reported the following:

Meek just said, “I’d like to thank the Pennsylvania Superior Court judges for their wisdom and their transparency in reviewing my case, unanimously overturning my conviction and granting me a new trial. The past 11 years have been mentally and emotionally challenging, but I’m ecstatic that justice prevailed.”

He goes on … “This positive outcome wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my family, my attorneys, Jay Z, Desiree Perez, Michael Rubin, the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office and my supporters who have stood with me through the ups and downs.”

Meek makes it clear, not everyone is this lucky … “Unfortunately, millions of people are dealing with similar issues in our country and don’t have the resources to fight back like I did. We need to continue supporting them. I’m committed to working with my team at the REFORM Alliance to change these outdated laws and fix our broken criminal justice system.”

Hopefully his previous judge will also be FREE from her duties. Congrats Meek!

Today RichBoy Ent. CEO and founder Korleon aka “The King of Jackson (K.O.J).” releases his new video for the song “Smith & Wesson” Ft Fabo. Released at the end of last month the visual precludes a host of releases by the ATL veteran by way of Jackson, Mississippi. Hoping to continue the momentum, Korleon will drop his mixtape The Four in the coming weeks, which will be followed up by Strictly 4 My Sippers this Summer.
K.O.J. is often seen touring alongside and has frequently collaborated with on tracks with Fabo, who he says is his brother and day 1.

“We opened back up the studio in March of 2017, we’ve had a lot of indies, superstars and its just been a blessing, I’m just glad that we have been able to make it happen. Houston rappers are on the come up, as many different artists have branched out within the past couple of years. Here are just a few Texans that you should consider adding to your playlist.

5. D. Flowers 

Flowers is newcomer rapper, Maxo Kream’s, protege. The two collaborated for their single Go, and Flowers can even be seen in the video. His music is considered gangster rap, as he often talks about his troubled childhood and growing up in Houston’s toughest streets in his music. Fans can expect more releases and potentially a debut EP or album in 2019.

4. Tim Woods

The Prairie View A&M University alumni is most known for his collaboration with fellow Houston rapper, Tobe Nwigwe, on their single TEN TOES. The two are set to perform on Nwigwe’s brief United States tour this year. Woods also posts his freestyle project, Mulch Mondays, on social media, where he showcases his original freestyles and music videos he releases at the beginning of each week.

3. Maxo Kream

This up-and-coming Houstonian recently released his new album, Brandon Banks, on July 19. The album has gained plenty of notoriety, as it features artists such as scHoolboy Q, A$AP Ferg, and fellow Houston rappers Megan Thee Stallion and Travis Scott. He is known for his gangster rap style as well, as he often raps about his father’s life of crime, and having to mature at a young age with a parent in prison. Some of his popular songs include Meet Again, Roaches, and Mars featuring Lil Uzi Vert.

2. Megan Thee Stallion

This 24-year-old is responsible for starting the “Hot girl” movement. She released her EP Tina Snow back in 2018, which featured one of her most popular songs, Big Ole Freak. Her newest album, Fever, was released May 17 of this year and includes artists such as Juicy J and DaBaby. Most recently, Megan was featured in XXL Magazine’s freshman class, where she showcased her free styling skills in the cypher.

Rihanna has seemingly found her doppelgänger, as she took to Instagram on Tuesday to post a photo of the look-alike.

It is unclear how old the girl is, however fans were able to find out through her mother, Bria’s, Instagram that the girl’s name is Ala’a Skyy. Her mother often posts her on social media, and the striking resemblance to Rihanna caused fans to tag her in the young girl’s pictures.

The photo quickly gained the singer’s attention, as she reposted a picture of Skyy on her Instagram, captioning it, “Almost drop my phone. How?” She also tagged Bria on Instagram.

While fans all over the world were shocked at just how much the two look a like, many celebrities were too. Tyra Banks reposted the photo captioning it, “S.O.S. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME identify @badgirlriri’s #freshfierceface mini-me!???? (Love you RiRi)????” Paris Hilton even commented heart eyes underneath Bank’s photo. Snoop Dogg commented underneath Rihanna’s post, “When did u have a baby,” while Priyanka Chopra commented “Wow?!”

Rihanna has had a relatively quiet summer, as she has mainly posted on Instagram about her work on her Fenty Beauty line. The brand launched back in 2017, and is famous for its inclusion of all skin tones, as there are 50 different shades of foundation. The brand has also been referenced by celebrities in their songs such as Ariana Grande with Make Up and Tyga’s Taste.

Tay-K Sentenced To 55 Years In Prison

19-year-old Tay-K was sentenced to 55 years in prison and a $21,000 fine on Tuesday, July 23 for his involvement in a 2016 robbery that left one man dead.

The rapper rose to fame back in 2017 when he escaped house arrest and went on the run. He later released a song and music video about the murder called The Race. The song charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and now has 174 million views on YouTube. In the video, he can be seen posing next to a wanted poster of himself. He was arrested in New Jersey after three months on the run, according to CNN.

Tay-K was just one of seven defendants in the trials, according to CNN. He was found guilty of murder last week, while the other six were either found guilty or reached plea deals during the trials. According to a witness testimony, Tay-K helped plan to steal drugs and money from the 21-year-old victim’s home in Mansfield, Texas. The victim, Ethan Walker, did not have said drugs or money, and Walker’s girlfriend even testified that he was shot while his hands were in the air.
Throughout the case, Tay-K’s attorney’s argued that since he was not the person who fired the gun, he shouldn’t be charged. However, prosecutor’s state that Tay-K knew what the plan was the whole time.
In addition to the 55 year sentencing and $21,000 fine, the Tarrant County jury has also sentenced Tay-K to 30 years in prison on one count of aggravated robbery and 13 years for each of the remaining two counts of aggravated robbery.

Future’s Bodyguard Gets Knocked Out During Airport Confrontation

Future’s bodyguard was recently knocked out during an altercation at a Spanish airport on Monday, July 22.

The rapper most recently released his SAVE ME EP which features popular songs such as Shotgun and Extra. He will also be headed on tour with YG, Megan Thee Stallion, Meek Mill, and Mustard at the end of this summer.

According to TMZ, the attack was racially motivated and went down in Ibiza, Spain at the International Airport. Future reportedly had just arrived and was walking through the terminal when 10 men approached and asked for a picture. Future told the fans no, as he was tired and has just gotten off of a long flight. The men allegedly became angry and started yelling racial slurs at the rapper. Future’s bodyguard quickly stepped in and attempted to get the rapper into his ride, when the altercation started.

Future’s bodyguard allegedly beat up several of the guys before someone came from behind and hit him with a rock, according to TMZ. Future later responded by saying “Basically these fake goons ask to suck my dk for a picture I toldem NOOOOO…apparently they get angry and do sum sucker st.”

He continued, “I left the airport, they edit the video they filmed and sent it to blogs real real tuf guys … what they did to security I didn’t see period, I’m not a witness to anything…leave me out (of) anything have to with this incident.”

It is unclear whether or not charges will be filed on either side.

A$AP Rocky May Be Reimbursed If Found Innocent

A$AP Rocky could potentially be reimbursed by Sweden for millions if found not guilty in his assault case.

The 30-year-old rapper has been in jail for three weeks now, and has missed out on some of his European tour, costing him a great deal of income. Rocky has already had to cancel 12 shows, and is booked for seven more throughout the month of September.

In Sweden, if somebody is charged with a crime and wins the case, the country may pay the defendant for money lost as a result of their incarceration and trial, according to TMZ. It is estimated that Rocky is paid about $100,000 per concert, and that he may be entitled to over $2 million now. However, Sweden could try and avoid the payment, as the law specifically states “may.”

The public is certain that Rocky will be formally charged on Thursday with aggravated assault, and the chances of him being released from jail once he’s been charged are slim because Sweden considers him and flight risk. Additionally, if things keep going as is, months may have passed before he goes to trial and Rocky will have missed out on even more scheduled concerts.

One of the men who reportedly harassed Rocky’s crew and hit his security in the head with a pair of headphones will not face any charges, according to ABC News. The decision comes as a response to a “counter-investigation” or complaint filed by Rocky’s bodyguard.

The longer Rocky sits in jail, the higher the stakes get. Sweden is set to make its decision on Thursday.

2019 XXL Freshman Class Cypher Trailer Revealed

XXL Magazine revealed the trailer for the 2019 Freshman Class cypher on Monday, July 23.

Last year, the freshman class included Lil Pump, Trippie Redd, Smokepurpp, Blockboy JB, YBN Nahmir, WifisFuneral, Stefflon Don, J.I.D., and Ski Mask The Slump God. Since then, some of the rappers have gone on to be even more successful, as Blockboy JB has released his new album, I Am Me, while Lil Pump has worked with popular artists such as Kanye West on I Love It. 

This year’s group was announced back in June. It includes up and coming rappers such as Lil Mosey, Tierra Whack, Gunna, Blueface, Roddy Rich, YK Osiris, Comethazine, YBN Cordae, DaBaby, Rico Nasty, and Megan thee Stallion. Some of the most notable artists are DaBaby who is known for his popular single Suge, which peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Rico Nasty recently released her new mixtape, Anger Management, while Megan thee Stallion is known for her song Big Ole Freak and for starting the “Hot Girl” movement.

In the trailer, all of the rappers can be seen spitting their best rhymes. Blueface states “My sht ruthless. I need a Kim Possible to play with my Rufus,” while YBN Cordae said “See, what’s the cost of a dollar when you don’t have sht and you down up on your last bit? And every moment pasts that makes you wonder what could happen.”

The cypher is set to be dropped sometime today. Keep a lookout for the highly anticipated battle.
