After taking a brief hiatus, Western PA rapper Wakai Neito is back with new music for the fans in the form of his “Wild Mixes.” Formerly known as Young Nate, the 412 upstart has taken on a new moniker that speaks to his team’s love for anime and Japanimation.

“I’ve just been working waiting for the next project to drop March 30th,” Wakai Neito
explained. “So this Summer is going to be crazy. It’s a project with 16 songs, all remixes – they are called my ‘Wild Mixes.'”

Pushing his #GetMoneyAttitude movement and backed by label head Ron McCrae of Steel City Records, Wakai Neito has the muscle behind him to make sure that his music is heard in the local markets and across the internet.

“I don’t think I’m going to drop any more official projects until next year, just songs and visuals with all my production and my team. I can’t say too much but we are just working on building more of a promo buzz right now and then we are going to expand from there,” Wakai Neito said.

Choosing to work primarily with SkywalkaBeatz and Hitmaker as his producers, fans can expect that Wakei Neito has found his stride with his new music and sense of artistry.

Hip Hop veteran Fabolous aka John Jackson is in hot water after turning himself in for domestic violence charges in New Jersey. According to NorthJersey.com

the rapper turned himself in at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday on a domestic dispute with his long time girlfriend and LHHNY star Emily B.

Court documents show that Fabolous punched Emily B seven times in the face and threatened the her dad’s and her brother’s life. The documents states that the alleged crime stemmed from an earlier incident on March 7th, when Fabolous who was in Los Angeles on a business trip “became enraged” when he found out via Instagram that Emily B was also in Los Angeles.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, while on a flight back from Los Angeles, the victim told police that Jackson, 40, said via text he wanted to hit her in the head with a baseball bat and that he would kill her but he “did not want to go out like that.” Emily told police that she was scared because of the March 7 incident. Emily was later punched by Fab seven times in the face “causing severe damage to her two front teeth.” She ended up losing her two front teeth, according to court documents.

The affidavit also stated that Because of the incident, Emily “called her father to remove two handguns from the residence due to her fear that they may be used against her,”. When Fabolous arrived at the couple’s New Jersey residence, he confronted Emily, her brother, and father, but then went to the upstairs of the residence looking for the handguns, which had been removed.  “When he could not locate the guns, the documents stated that he left the house, but not before informing Emily, her father and her brother that he had a bullet for them,” according to court documents.

The couple have been together for 16 years and have 2 children together.  Fabolous or Emily have not made any public commented on what went down between them. Fabulous is charged with domestic violence and a terroristic threat charge. We will keep you updated as this story develops.

Growing up in a musical family, R&B/Hip-Hop artist Frankie Carerra was always around music. But it wasn’t until he blew up on his college campus at Arizona State University that he really started taking his career more seriously as an artist.

Gaining exposure with his song “Motherland,” Frankie Carrera dropped the viral video during Spring Break at ASU, but when he came back he was unexpectedly an overnight celebrity on campus. Gaining followers, plays and likes, from a whole new legion off fans, Frankie Carrera began regularly traveling to LA to record and in order to gain more exposure through networking.

“Music has always been in my family, my dad was a drummer and then I started doing classical piano at a really early age. In high school I started listening to Rockie Fresh and that really set it off for me writing more R&B/Hip-Hop styled music. Then I went to Arizona State University that escalated to more shows and opportunities,” Frankie Carrera said.

As kid Frankie’s father played the drums and Frankie Carrera was trained on classical piano, which eventually lead to him writing more R&B/Hip-Hop styled songs in high school, but his unexpected success in college was on a whole new level as he was quickly becoming a viral sensation.

“When I did my song and video Motherland and it blew up on campus at ASU, I was getting a lot of comparisons to Sammy Adams and artists like Asher Roth who had experienced success in their college years. I was like an overnight celebrity on campus after Spring Break. When I got back to school I had a shitload of new followers, it was really a crazy time. ” Frankie Carrera said.

Finally after expanding his fan base with various releases on campus and trips back and forth to LA, Frankie Carrera was able to connect with longtime manager for Khalil, Blake Robbins.

“I ended up meeting Blake and Khalil, they knew of me and they were amazing people and really helped me get started. I needed a place to record in LA and they helped pull that all together so that I could realize my dreams of recording and taking this to another level,” Frankie said.

Frankie Carerra ended up writing his song “Noche” shorty after meeting the guys and recorded the song separately while Khalil was touring abroad with Justin Bieber.

“While Khalil was in London recording and traveling with Justin, I began to record at their studio in LA and had actually recorded the song Noche really quickly just stepping in the booth messing around. But when Khalil came back he jumped on the record and that was pretty much it. Brandon the engineer said ‘he heard the record and Khalil got on it in like 20 minutes.'”

Now with anticipation building on the single, the guys are pepared to release the highly anticipated visual which was directed by rising video director Louie Knows.

“It wasn’t a huge budget for the video but it really came out crazy,” Frankie Carrera said. ” The key is organization and doing it the right way. I’m so focused on my craft, that right now I feel like I can jump on any genre of music. I went to Brazil and I worked with producers down there. I know that R&B and Hip-Hop are my background but I am so diverse, I feel like I can do so many things. I always put my tastes into whatever environment I’m around and I think you can hear that on Noche.”

Eric Bellinger breaks his silence once again to address the Canadian rapper, Tory Lanez. Tory had nothing nice to say about the Compton artist on his record “Hate To Say”; which is on his latest album “Memories Don’t Die”.

Bellinger didn’t take lightly to the insults and decided to respond with a record appropriate for the insult​ titled​ “Yike​s.​” Bellinger drops an E-Mix over the​ Lanez​ ​”​Hate To Say​”​ beat​ ​which Eric explains Tory also stole in the E-Mix. Unlike Lanez, Eric had no problem letting Tory and the world know exactly who is being referenced in the record.

It looks like former Love and Hip Hop star Apryl Jones is having some parenting problems with her children’s father R& B singer Omarion.

The couple, who starred on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood, have two children together 3-year-old Megaa Omari and 2-year-old A’mei Kazuko. Apryl and Omarion ended their relationship last year, but are still friends and great co-parents.  But according to comments made on social media, Apryl feels like Omarion is not doing enough to help care for their children. We all remember Devonte Hart the young boy who captured our hearts back in 2014 when a viral photo of him hugging a police officer as tears streamed down his cheek during protests in Portland, Oregon, over Brown’s death in Ferguson, Missouri, and a grand jury’s failure to indict the officer who shot him. Devonte was carrying a sign at the demonstration that said “free hugs,” prompting the Portland police officer to ask him if he would “get one of those.” When freelance photographer Johnny Nguyen captured the image.

Devonte has been reported missing after several members of his family died in a horrific car crash. Five people have been confirmed dead after the SUV they were in went off a cliff near Mendocino in Northern California, on Monday according to ABC News.

Hart’s parents Jennifer and Sarah Hart, and three of his siblings died in the crash. Search and rescue teams continue to look for Devonte who is now 15, and his siblings, 16-year-old Hannah Hart and 12-year-old Sierra Hart.

Investigators are still trying to piece together exactly when the crash occurred, and there were no witnesses. The car engine was cold by the time first responders arrived on the scene, authorities said.

There was no evidence left in the car, but police are searching for possible gas or hotel receipts to obtain a better timeline, officials said, adding that they have “no reason to believe” that the crash was “an intentional act.”
