Dennis Byron, Journalist
In an exclusive interview with Hip Hop Enquirer, Boosie Bad Azz aka Lil Boosie sat down with HHE’s Dennis Byron to discuss a plethora of topics that covered from his adaptation to the new technology and how it has helped his career to what the impact of prison had on him and what message he wanted to share with youths contemplating on traveling down the wrong road in life. The tone of the interview changed when he was asked about his thoughts on the people accused of killing his label mate and friend Lil Phat. Having himself being faced with a possible murder conviction and a possible death penalty sentence several years ago, his response was very philosophical to say the least.
Lil Boosie is by far one of the hottest commodities in hip hop music today as proven by some of the people he has already worked with in the short five months since he has been home. Having songs with 2 Chainz, K. Camp, Chris Brown, Young Jeezy, Richie Homie Quan as well as an upcoming session with Justin Bieber. Lil Boosie is currently selling out arenas across the country and if you think this year has been a lot for the rapper. Wait until you see what he has installed for the next six months. One thing he did promise was that his upcoming double disc album scheduled to drop in September 23rd will be the best since Tupac’s “All Eyes On Me” and for some reason we are inclined to believe him. Welcome back Boosie!
