New Music Alert: Figg Newton – “Figg Raised”

Today West Coast mainstay Figg Newton drops the visual to his new song,”Figg Raised” from his project U Figg Me 2.

In the colorful visual, Figg Newton tells a story of his life while growing up in the notorious South Central area of Los Angeles along Figueroa Street. Throughout the video’s clips you can see Figg Newton walking down the street amidst LA traffic and rapping his verses about his life there.

“This is a record that’s autobiographical, and i’s a truth telling testimony of where i have came from and the obstacles that were overcome to even make the record in the first place. It came together as always with the good chemistry
of me and @lfinguz, who have worked together on countless records. Once the foundation was laid, then the rest was easy,” Figg Newton explained.

With plans to release another follow up project this Summer right behind U Figg Me 2, expect to see Figg Newton on Tour across the West Coast distributing merchandise and music to his fan base.
