This is a Troy Ave original that is COMPLETELY out of his normalcy, but he got his point across, nonetheless. Ave starts 2015 with a quick addressing to the haters with his new record Doo Doo. Over a jingle that reminds you of a nice walk in the park, he lets the naysayers know how he really feels. The pre-hook sets the pace for the entire record:
To the people that thought I was gone flop
Ya’ll a part of the reason I ain’t gonna stop
Against the odds, I went hard until I popped
Came from the bottom and now I’m standing on top
I had dreams and now they all coming true
Put the team in them things, we got a few
Make a scene whenever I coming through
If you hated just know that I’m shitting on you
For all of those who are contrary to what the B$B Records movement is doing, this one’s for you. Listen below.
